Peer Pressure

While you were a kid, your parents usually got to pick out your friends because they always wanted good kids for you to be around. Now you are older and your parents don't get to chose who your friends are, that's your decision now. You have to pick from the good and bad people. You always want to pick the right one because if your so called best friend pressures you into doing something you don't want to do.

I have a lot of opinions on peer pressure. I think that when child gets peer pressured by another child they usually do what someone tells them to do because they want to seem cool or fit in with the group. Kids never really think about the consequences they might face. I think that they should do something about peer pressure. For example, they should make a peer pressure group in each school. In that peer pressure group they should find a way for people to not get peer pressured in school. Students should be able to come to the peer pressure group and talk to anyone who needs it. This would be a great help because then kids would get the help that they need and also the students would be able to trust the adult they go too.

I also think that Peer pressure can teach you a lesson. For example what if your friend told you to steal something and you did and you got caught. You would get in trouble and feel bad and then probably know not to do it again. You would have learned your lesson that you shouldn't do it again. Some kids just continue to do it because they believe it is fun. Those kids end up with so many consequences later on life that it because so bad.

I think peer pressure can be a good thing and also a bad thing for a person. Maybe in life while kids get older they do realize it in their own that they should follow other kids just because they want to fit in. Those will never be your true friends. You should always trust who your true friends are,
Not people who aren't real and let you stay down on yourself.
